"We shall individually be held responsible for doing one jot less than we have ability to do...But when we give ourselves wholly to God, and in our work follow His directions, He makes Himself responsible for its accomplishment. He would not have us conjecture as to the success of our honest endeavors. Not once should we even think of failure. We are to cooperate with One who knows no failure." ~Messages to Young People, p. 309

See Rock City!!

For those of you who don't live around Southeastern Tennessee, you may not know; for those of you who do, you will: Rock City atop "lofty Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga" is the #1 tourist spot in Chattanooga. Supposedly, from Lover's Leap (the famed mountain vistapoint) you can "See Seven States!" However, when I checked it out on Wikipedia, it stated that there is lack of scientific evidence for the seeing of 7 states. Anyway. Back to my story. Anyway, we have not gone in the 2 yrs. we've lived in TN because we do not tend to pour our money into tourist spots!! ;) But when the University announced that they were going to have their annual Faculty/Staff  & family picnic there, we wasted no time in picking up tickets!!

All around Chattanooga,  Clark Byers painted on over 900 barn rooftops in 19 states that were near the highways going into the city, "See Rock City!". So to really feel like a true Southeast Tennessean, it is a good idea to go "See Rock City!"

So last week we went to "See Rock City" courtesy of Dad's employer. Of course I had to bring my camera, and even though I only took a 107 shots due to a thunderstorm, I still got some good ones. Enjoy!!
