"We shall individually be held responsible for doing one jot less than we have ability to do...But when we give ourselves wholly to God, and in our work follow His directions, He makes Himself responsible for its accomplishment. He would not have us conjecture as to the success of our honest endeavors. Not once should we even think of failure. We are to cooperate with One who knows no failure." ~Messages to Young People, p. 309

"We Can't Just Go Once!" Part 2: Henry Ford Museum

In the afternoon on our second day at "The Henry Ford", we went to Henry Ford Museum. Among other things, Grandpa and I especially enjoyed seeing the plane exhibit. :D

^^A real, Northwest DC-3.

^^A Lockheed Vega, like Amilia Earhart used to fly.

^^This plane flew almost around the world!

^^A replica of the "Spirit of St. Louis". When actor Jimmy Stewart play Charles Linbergh in a movie, Stewart used this plane.

^^Explorer Byrd flew this plane to, or near to, the North Pole.

^^A replica of the Wright Brother's "Flyer".

^^A back view of the DC-3.

^^I don't really know exactly what this contraption is...looks like a cross between a plane and a helicopter! :P

^^There's an early Boeing plane on the left (foreground), and a Ford Tri-Motr on the center-right (background).

^^The top of the clocktower on Henry Ford Museum.

^^A statue of Henry Ford.

^^A presidental car, I think belonging to FDR or Eisenhower.

^^An "exploded" Model T.

^^A 1952 Wienermobile.

^^"Goldenrod", one of the fastest cars ever built.

^^A circular house, built to save space. Unfortunatly, with not enough money, only 2 prototypes were ever built.

^^Me in an Overland car.

^^(above and below)Me helping to put on the backright wheel of a Model T.

^^The chair in which Lincoln was killed.

^^The Rosa Parks bus.
