"We shall individually be held responsible for doing one jot less than we have ability to do...But when we give ourselves wholly to God, and in our work follow His directions, He makes Himself responsible for its accomplishment. He would not have us conjecture as to the success of our honest endeavors. Not once should we even think of failure. We are to cooperate with One who knows no failure." ~Messages to Young People, p. 309

Fragile Oasis

Recently, Ron Garan launched into space. On April 4, 2011 he and his cosmonaut friends Andrey Borisenko and Alexander Samokutyaev rode a Soyuz spacecraft, launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, bound for several months' stay aboard the International Space Station.

I was delighted to be able to watch his launch live (see below video), and watch on video the docking (see other video below).

I was also happy to find he has a blog! It's called "Fragile Oasis" and on it he talks about his experiences as an astronaut, most recently his launch. I read the article and it was fascinating!! I can't wait to read more of his articles. Anyway, I thought that you might like to know of and read his blog too. Here's the address:
